Position: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Dallas, TX

Classification: Non-exempt

Reports to: Human Resources Director

Compensation : Competitive Salary

Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm w/ some flex required

Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) provides assistance with and facilitates all human resources processes for the organization. The HRC serves as the main contact point for employees and visitors. Provides the HR Department administrative support for all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, record keeping and file maintenance.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as the main HR contact for internal employee and external customer questions/concerns and partners with other areas of HR to ensure solutions are provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assists in the talent acquisition function by maintaining communication with potential candidates, third party agencies and hiring managers as well as assisting in the interview process, including, but not limited to, pre-assessment screening, paperwork processing, reference checking/employment verification and candidate follow-up.
  • Update and maintain timekeeping system as needed to ensure timely payroll processing; partner with managers to ensure employee timecards are accurate.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking system of internal, external and past candidates.
  • Maintain human resources records including new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, etc.
  • Monitor employees, visitors
  • Report observed physical security policy violations
  • Issue and track visitor and temporary badges
  • Aide with reports, audits and improvements
  • Contribute to projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. HS diploma required
  • 1 to 2 years’ administrative experience in Human Resources preferred; prior customer service or general office experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Communicate effectively and concisely with all levels of personnel both verbally and in writing
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work independently and within deadlines
  • Effectively prioritize a variety of tasks simultaneously
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
