Strategy Analyst I
Summary
The Strategy Analyst I is responsible for designing, implementing, and testing initiatives that impact the organizations operational platforms and processes.
Essential Functions
- Develop expertise for the organizations platforms to lead needed changes and updates
- Understand both the technical functionality of all systems as well as the business objectives to clearly align the two in the best way possible
- Work closely with all groups within the company to ensure that all their needs are met and that the interests of the company are being considered
- Create, review and update written communication templates/letters/emails and notices to ensure clarity, compliance, and effectiveness
- Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance communication effectiveness and customer engagement
- Work with the operations and strategy teams to implement process improvements that streamline communication workflows
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, compliance, and strategy to ensure consistent and effective communication practices
- Coordinate with technical development teams on changes and implementations of new communications templates, data variables, and criteria
- Support the operations of the company by maintaining compliance and building exception reporting
- Act as an internal consulting group with a creative and analytical outlook at all times
- Recommend new systems, procedures, or organizational change
- Confer with managers to ensure that the changes are working
- Manage, maintain, and enhance reporting and certain operational systems
- Focus on end user experience and how the process meets the objectives
- Work with data sets to assist with determination of appropriate actions that may be needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, English or related field
- Proven experience (0 -1 years) in collections, loan servicing, financial services, customer communications, or a related industry, with a focus on written communication strategies.
- Familiarity with collections processes and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Strong Excel and some SQL skills preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and credit check to client-required standards
- Must be able to work independently; self-motivated
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical skills for decision-making
- Detail-oriented with initiative and desire to work in a quality environment
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including electronic keyboard, mouse and telephone.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time as well as perform repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
