Position: Lien Release Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Dallas TX
Reports to: Manager

Hours: Full-Time Shifts
Responsible for completing a quality review of all prepared lien release and assignment documents for accuracy before the document is sent to the county for recording. Ensure that all documents are processed within internal and state compliance requirements. Will provide feedback to document processors and management to improve department functionality.
Perform a quality review of prepared lien release documents, checking for correct loan level information, typographical errors, correct beneficiary signing, correct notary information, etc.…
Ensure all required supporting documents are received and reviewed for completeness
Research Real Property records to confirm correct beneficiary
Review Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS) for correctness
Confirm the state compliance requirements and timeframes have been met for each lien release document
Identify and track preparation errors
Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to: acting as back up for other employees and special projects
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1+ Years of Mortgage Experience
Previous mortgage lien release experience processing experience preferred
Ability to perform computer research
Self-motivated with a good attitude
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Displays strong organizational abilities and time management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
Ability to make decisions independently within set policies/procedures.
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving skills and sound judgment
Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screen to client-required standards
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including electronic keyboard, mouse and telephone.

While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk on the phone. He/she may be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time as well as perform repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
